Delete your FitCompass account & data

This page explains how to delete your account in the FitCompass member app or the FitCompass trainer app, operated by FitCompass Innovations Private Limited, and what happens to your data when you do.

1. How to delete your account

In the app (fastest)

1. Open the FitCompass Member or FitCompass Trainer app.
2. Go to the More tab.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your access is revoked immediately and your sign-in is removed. Your personal data is then deleted within 30 days.

If you can’t access the app

If you have uninstalled the app or can’t sign in, email support@fitcompass.in from your registered email address, or include your registered mobile number if you signed up by phone, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify your identity and process the deletion, contacting you at your registered email or phone number if we need to confirm.

2. What gets deleted

• Profile and identity data — name, phone number, email address, date of birth, gender, and profile photo.
• Health and fitness data — body metrics, workouts, personal records, challenges, streaks, and assessments.
• Nutrition data and photos — meal logs, food photos, and food searches.
• Community content (FitSnaps posts, likes, and comments) and personal-training and session records tied to your identity.
• Push-notification tokens, app preferences, and uploaded images stored on our behalf.

3. What may be retained, and why

• Payment and transaction records — retained for 8 years, as required for tax and accounting in India.
• Limited records needed for fraud prevention, security, and dispute resolution.

Retained records are minimised and, where feasible, de-identified so they can no longer be linked to you.

4. Timeline

• Access revoked: immediately.
• Personal data deleted: within 30 days.
• Legally retained records: kept only for the periods above, then deleted.
